Our client is an industry leader and they are currently seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join there team. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller your duties and responsibilities will include the following;

Preparation of weekly cash flow reports for various entities

Day to day transactional accounting for the Group

Preparation of monthly Sales and Flash results report for the company

Maintenance of the Asset Register
-
Preparation of all IAS returns including BAS, PAYG, PAYROLL TAX and workcover
-
Processing Debtor invoices
-
Analysis of the Aged Debtor report
-
Preparation of journals
-
Variance reporting
-
Preparation of Management Accounts
-
Job Cost allocation
-
Overseeing the company insurances
-
Reconciliation of the various entities including the private group companies
-
Bank reconciliations
-
Processing monthly progress claims against jobs
This is a broad role and needs someone who has a high attention to detail and an analytical mind. A degree qualification is ideally sought and a proven track record in a busy transactional environment would be ideal. As well as an ability to complete all of the necessary monthend reports including management accounts. Previous experience with Timberline would be highly regarded. Strong excel skills a must.
