As an Accounts Assistant for our client based in Chatswood, you will assist the Accounts Team with the entire accounting function and report directly to their financial controller. This is an amazing opportunity to receive training across all functions of accounting and really develop your commercial experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Data Processing and Maintenance of AP & AR systems, daily bank reconciliations
- Monitor & reconcile sales daily including collection of debtors on a timely basis
- Management of Creditors; including weekly reconciliations and correspondence with suppliers as necessary
- Investigate and resolve customer queries
- Assist the Financial Controller with adhoc tasks as directed
- Assist with office administration
- liaise with clients over the phone
The successful candidate will posses:
- Exceptional communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Must have an accounting qualification
- Has atleast 2-3 years commercial experience
- preferably have your own form of transport (secure off-street parking provided)
- Minimum 2-3 years MYOB experience
- Someone who can work autonomously and show initiative
- High attention to detail
