Our Client is currently looking to expand its growing team and an opportunity now exists for an experienced contracts administrator to join their team
 
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of policies, procedures, systems and legislation, relevant to the role including contract law, relevant case law and Part 3 of the Local Government Act 
  • Liaise with and provide specialist advice to professional and technical officers and the public on matters associated with tenders and contracts including but not limited to legislative requirements, contract and relevant case law.
  • Have a high level of knowledge and vast experience in contractual matters and the administrative processes in relation to contracts.
  • Have exceptional planning and organisational skills along with highly developed analytical, research, investigative and evaluation skills including the ability to identify and implement strategies for improved service delivery;
  • At least 3-5 years experience working in a similar role
  • Good negotiation and inter personal skills required
  • Good computer skills with emphasis on use with Microsoft suite of products
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Flexible outlook and ability to deal with change
  • Previous experience in a contracts administration role
