A National Leader in Software Development with long term established IT sector clients across the world. Based in Australia, this company also has a presence in the USA and UK, with the successful candidate primarily based at the firm's head office in WA.
The Role:
Reporting to the Managing Director & indirectly two other directors, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategic planning, marketing and positioning of the business. You will use your ability to communicate, create rapport and business flexibility to manage the company and your employees into the future.
Typical duties will include but are not limited to:
- Manage all operations including R&D, infrastructure, HR, marketing and administration
- Planning and delivering on strategic outcomes
- Work with key clients to achieve agreed product deliverables
- Assist is preparing and maintaining the budgets, cash flows and financial reports
- Preparing and managing company tax concessions
- Attend board meetings as requested
- HR Management including recruitment, selection and performance
- Provide relevant operational and business reports
- Limited travel interstate and overseas as required
To be considered for this position you will possess the following skill/attributes:
- Proven experience in a General Management position
- Extensive experience in Software Development
- Proven skills in business and financial management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise teams and to create rapport with staff
- An eye for detail when dealing with Software
- Demonstrated ability to share skills and knowledge with others
