The Role:
As Safety Advisor you will be reporting directly into the Safety Manager and will be responsible for of conducting site assessments and site audits and ensuring all compliance, paperwork and documentation are completed to the company's standards and policies. You will promote and encourage a robust safety culture across the whole site and team.
To be considered for this position you will possess the following skill/attributes:
Demonstrated experience of having worked in a site based construction/mining role is essential for this position - as well as being available for an immediate start. You will also possess;
- Diploma/degree educated or equivalent tertiary qualifications (OHS)
- Safety Auditors Certificate / Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training
- Valid White Card and 4 Wheel Drive Training Certificate
- Experience of working on major civil infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Have in depth experience of supporting a Safety manager and project teams
- Implementing safety inspection plans and audits
- Providing support in the development of safety documentation
Roster: 15:6 from Perth - well established Mine and camp facilities - 2 hour flight time
Rate: $95 per hour + Superannuation
