Subdivisions Planner
Rate: $35 p/hr
Length: 3-4 months
 
We are currently seeking an experienced Subdivision Officer to join the Statutory Planning team at a municipality located in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.  Our client has experienced an increase in workload and due to a recent resignation, requires an experienced candidate who can hit the ground running. 

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for dealing with land assessments, subdivision applications, statements of compliance, certification and S173 agreements in a timely and professional manner.

As the ideal candidate you will have:
• A degree in Town Planning, or relevant qualifications/experience
• Circa 2 + years experience assessing subdivision planning applications, ideally within a Local Government or consultancy environment.
• Solid knowledge of the Subdivisions Act as well as the Victorian Planning Scheme
• A commitment to providing outstanding customer service
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
