An exciting career opportunity exists for a Cardiology Principle House Officer (PHO) to join a reputable South Eastern Queensland Hospital which is recognised for its commitment to ongoing training and education.
The hospital is a 227 bed facility with a broad range of specialty services. As well as being a popular teaching hospital, it has fully equipped Intensive Care and Coronary Care Units. Surgical operations are undertaken by Visiting Specialists and Staff Surgeons with the support of a Staff Anaesthetist. There is a full obstetric and gynaecological service that is provided and supported by specialist medical and nursing staff.

Selection Criteria:-
To be considered for this opportunity you will have the following:-
• Minimum of 12 months Cardiology experience in a comparable healthcare country.
• MBBS
• 12 months clinical experience gained within a country with a comparable healthcare system to Australia. Comparable countries are:- UK, Ireland, NZ, USA and Canada
• Hold current registration or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
• If your medical degree was gained in a country where English is NOT a native or first language you will be required to take an English language. Accepted English language tests are IELTS (minimum score of 7 in each category), PLAB, OET and NZREX.
