The Role:
My client is looking for a PeopleSoft Consultant with a strong technical background to deliver quality technical solutions with the ability to interface with clients and internal staff to diagnose and resolve complex issues in a timely manner by analysing problems, engaging in research, collaborating with others and prescribing solutions.

Major Responsibilities are:
Responsible for ensuring end user satisfaction through timely and accurate resolution of PeopleSoft related issues.
Resolution of client issues by defining action plans and following through to closure.
Communicate status and resolution to clients and internal personnel
Being a subject matter expert in PeopleSoft technology.
Seek opportunities to develop and/or improve tools and processes to enhance our customer efficiency in resolving end user issues.

Ideal candidate will have the following skills:
Experience in People Tools & PeopleSoft version 8x and 9x.
Exposure to modules in Peoplesoft Financials or HCM + Campus Solutions.
Strong exposure to PeopleSoft reporting tools like SQR, crystal etc.
Conceptual knowledge of database design in RDBMS systems like MS Sql Server.
Experience in writing SQL queries for the purpose of troubleshooting, gathering information and/or reporting.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Patience and poise under the pressure of solving time sensitive issues.
Ability to effectively lead and manage technical discussions.
Strong analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving ability.
A demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive tasks to completion.
Ability to manage and present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have:
Exposure to change and release management process.
Working experience in ITIL based environment.
Exposure to working in universities or similar environments.
