Worldwide leader in technology seeks an experienced Network Specialist to join there growing team. Initially a 12+ month contract to join this global team based in WEST PENNANT HILLS with view to extend.
You will be responsible for installation, decommission and ongoing support of Network Infrastructure, including Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load Balancers and Voice components across this organisations commercial portfolio.
The role will include but not limited to the following activities:
- Network transition
- Project implementation
- BAU support across client environments
- Documentation and business controls associated with the devices under management
- Oncall component for after hours support, on a rotating roster basis.
In order to be successful with in this role you will require the following:
- Firewalls (Juniper, Netscreen, Checkpoint, PIX, ASA)
- Bluecoat Proxy and Reporter
- Juniper VPN Concentrator
- Crossbeam and Firefly hardware
- Checkpoint and Juniper Management Platforms (Checkpoint Smart-1, Juniper Network and Security Manager NSM)
- Sound network knowledge/troubleshooting skills
