My client is a leading service provider of business, information technology and communications solutions. Due to their continued success they are currently undergoing a number of significant IT projects; I am seeking a highly motivated System Engineer. As a system engineer you will provide support and ongoing test and certification services ability for my client. The Key Responsibilities: - Develop, document, implement and maintain the Test and Certification processes
- Provide technical leadership and governance for test and Certification activities.
- Design and develop technical solutions for Test and Certification requirements
- Accurately test and certify Hardware, Software and Application Packages to set standards and guidelines
- Integration and Delivery Testing of packages applications
The experience you require - 6 years of managing and supporting desktop hardware and software
- Excellent knowledge of XP operating system
- Strong knowledge of Windows 7 operating system
- Exposure to application packaging and deployment methodologies using Windows Installer technology
- Exposure to the processes of Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management.
- Professional documentation skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills for software conflicts.
Highly Desirable (one or more of the following Desktop Management technologies) - CA Unicenter Desktop and Server Management or CA Unicenter Desktop Management Suite
- Microsoft SMS/SCCM
- Novell Zenworks.
