Carroll Cotton is seeking a number of staff for its state of the art cotton gin near Gunnedah in north-west NSW. The company is only 45 minutes from the major regional city of Tamworth and 25 minutes to Gunnedah, a town with the full range of community facilities, like work opportunities for spouse and access to many schools. The opportunities are available for either experienced cotton ginning staff or qualifed trades persons (electrical, mechanical or hydraulic engineers, boilermakes etc) wishing to develop new skills, work in the agricultural industry and become part of a great team. Specific vacancies are available now for a Cotton Ginner and an Assistant /Trainee Ginner Ideally you should have: - Ginning experience or trade qualifications;
- Self motivation and the ability to work without supervision;
- Well developed planning and organizational skills.
Your duties will include: - Maintenance and servicing of plant and equipment;
- Ensuring quality standards are maintained;
- Ensuring adherence to OH&S;
- Monitoring production output and improving production efficiencies;
- coordinating and overseeing seasonal employees.
