South Brisbane location

Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer of roll formed steel building products. Their range includes guttering, purlins, fascia, wall cladding and structural formwork, which are delivered through a nationwide network of manufacturing and distribution centres.

Due to recent growth within the company a position has now become available for an experienced Leading Hand for their Flashings department. The successful applicant must be available 6:30am 3:00pm Monday to Friday, with some overtime.

Your duties will include the following:

• Supervision of a team up to 10
• Ensure a high standard of production is met
• Effective communication and production reporting
• Identify any training and development requirements within your team.
• Promote a strong safety culture

To be successful you will need the following:

• Previous experience as a Leading Hand / Supervisor
• Sheet metal / Fabrication experience
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent time management skills

This position requires a pre employment medical, which includes a drug and alcohol test.
