Our client is a leading global consumer products manufacturer.
Role:
An excellent opportunity to join and global manufacturer /distributor to support their supply chain team through development of best in class inventory management policies.
- Optimise finished stock levels to support the business objective of committed delivery lead-times to customers across in ANZ.
- Manage & optimise the planning, scheduling and expediting processes across the manufacturing operation and global factored goods suppliers to support inventory / service levels and efficiency.
- Challenge the existing supply chain and identify areas of MRP / DRP improvements for customer service / inventory & efficiency gains
- Coordinate imports of purchased product from external suppliers in order to achieve a balance between service and cost.
- Coordinate the Materials Management support of the introduction of new (NPI) and replacement items process
- Manage the creation and maintenance master data needed to support the supply chain system throughout the operating units.
- Identify slow-moving & obsolete parts and manage their phase-out
- Ensure excellent communication across the processes with all other sites / functions.
- Undertake data analysis as required, understand the results and implement any resulting changes.
- Proactively identify and implement process, system and data improvements within the Supply Chain function.
The ideal candidate should posses the following skills and attributes;
- An established track record in inventory planning management.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications are preferred.
- Continuous improvement focussed.
- Experience within a top-tier global organisation is preferred.
- High energy individual able to drive through continuous improvement.
