Vertical Talent is the most trusted name in Procurement recruitment. We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Associate: Indirect spend to work in a global industry leader.
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain & Procurement, this exciting position will involve analysis and sourcing for a range of indirect services and products, ensuring compliance, favourable commercial terms and driving high performance from a range of suppliers. You will partner with the business through a critical period of positive change, to a shared service centre led procurement function with a new engagement model.You will be used to operating as the procurement support in cross-functional project teams in a fast paced, marketing & sales-driven culture. You will facilitate discussions with key groups, develop sourcing strategy for your commodities and run the tendering and contract negotiation process, supplier selection process and develop & implement supplier KPIs, ensuring supplier performance improvement and working on gaining stakeholder support for further procurement initiatives. Experience in Pharmaceutical, FMCG or similar fast paced environments would be beneficial as would exposure to sourcing marketing agencies however these are not key requirements.
You will need to demonstrate:
- Sound understanding of procurement sourcing methodology
- Min 3 years procurement experience
The successful candidate will benefit from an on-site gym, subsidized café, flexible working arrangements with potential for 4 days a week for the right candidate, salary commensurate with experience up to circa $100,000 package including base and super.
