Operating on a global level across the 3rd party logistics & freight forwarding areas, our client is looking for a solid 'all-rounder' storeperson/forklift driver to join their 'spare parts' team within Matraville warehouse ASAP!
The role will require a varied list of duties & responsibilities, and we are looking for someone with previous experience working within a similar stores environment, ideally with medical and/or electronic spare parts. The role will likely require a high level of systems usage as well, and could potentially suit a storeperson from an accounts background/education.
As the position will start on an ongoing casual basis with the potential for long term work, the successful candidate will also live locally to, or within suitable travelling distance to Matraville and be comfortable with the required commute.
To be considered for the position, candidates must be comfortable with the following position requirements:
- Previous experience within a similar storeperson / admin based role
- Computer literate - ideally including previous WMS/SAP experience
- Physically fit to carry out relevant manual handling/general stores tasks
- Forklift licence holder (ideally with hi-reach experience)
- Completion of a mandatory police background check
