Job Description The Business Support Manager is a member of one of the key Health/Aged Care business units with joint accountability for that units' strategy definition, resource allocation, people management and ultimately financial result. The role has four primary responsibilities, Integrated Business Management, Reporting, Tender Management and Pricing Management. This position is the pivotal link between sales, marketing & operations, which continually challenges & seeks to improve communications, provide clarity, & understanding, in delivering agreed business targets for the division. As it is a leadership role, you will be responsible for managing 2 direct reports who will own the operational day to day. The Successful Applicant To be considered for this strategically important opportunity, our client is looking for candidates who will be able to demonstrate a proven record in the creation and management of tender responses in a large commercial organisation or experience in procurement and bid management. With experience/exposure working with/in the Health/Aged Care market space you will need strong communication (both written and verbal) skills, high level of commercial acumen with the insight to identify true commercial opportunities and make astute, financially viable recommendations, and the capacity to identify and adapt improved solutions within a cross-functional environment. Sound negotiation skills. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills and critical. Awareness and exposure to key account management / sales methodologies will be advantageous, as will the ability to work in a commercial environment and deliver on non-negotiable deadlines. Understanding of SAP is also desirable.
