What you will be doing:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for pursuing new business, as well as maintaining relationships with existing partners. Your week will be made up of cold calling and other lead generation activities. This role will see you managing long sales cycles and delivering business intelligence solutions to key players.

You will be joining a progressive and complex software solution provider, in Geospatial information solutions. With 30+ years industry experience, 150 + staff members and 7 offices nationally. They pride themselves on company incentive programs, salary continuance and ongoing professional development.
What you must have to apply for this role:
* A proven track record in selling complex software solutions
* New business development experience
* Experience dealing with long sales cycles
* Commercial acumen and corporate presentation
* Hungry, driven, energetic, aggressive and ambitious
You will be highly regarded if you also have:
* Tertiary qualifications in any field
* Experience selling to local, state or federal government, in road, rail, civil, utilities, telco or mining
* Experience selling IT Consulting (managed services)
* Experience with blue chip clients
