As a well respected multi-disciplinary consultancy operating in the North Queensland area for more than 50 years, our client is well regarded as a leader in the field of Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering. Currently due to continued growth, the Mackay office is seeking an Environmental Scientist to join the team. This role will be primarily involved with the following:
- Development approvals
- Environmental management plans
- Soil, water and groundwater investigations
- Effluent disposal
- Acid sulfate soils sampling and management plans
- Contaminated land
- Stormwater
- Mining environment services
The client is seeking a person with a tertiary qualification in Science or Engineering who is currently residing in Mackay or happy to relocate. Candidates with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role will be considered for this position.
