<p>Our client is a well known food manufacture based on the Southside who is well respected and long term client of our business.</p><p></p><p>We are currently looking for an experienced Laboratory Technician who is able to work with our Microbiologist team. You will assist with the in-line Quality Control &amp; Microbiological laboratories during pouch processing.</p><p>You will be required to work on weekends or various shift times (morning, afternoon or night) offer of 16-20 hrs a week as the plant is a 24hr 7 day week program.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Daily equipment calibration </li><li>Inline finished goods/sampling and testing</li><li>Raw material sampling/testing</li><li>Verification of aseptic parameters</li><li>House keeping</li><li>Documentation and data input</li><li>Safety </li><li>Undertaking morning microbiological routine that inc recording incubator temperatures, calibrate PH meter, plate counting, and worksheet prep</li><li>Pouch incubator samples</li><li>Test manufactured products and raw material for compliance specifications</li><li>Maintain microbiological laboratory</li><li>Media prep, Quality Control testing of media</li><li>Ensure records are kept in readily retrievable </li></ul><p /><p><b>Successful person:</b></p><ul><li>Qualifications in Science majoring in Biology is an advantage or near completion of studies in this field.</li><li>Self motivated</li><li>Organised and ability to meet deadlines</li><li>Excellent Communication skills</li><li>Good level for English language skill</li><li>Ability to handle multiple demands if required</li><li>Experience within process QC and QA finished product and micro testing</li><li>Reasonably assertive when required</li><li>Ability to work with minimal supervision</li><li>Strong GMP desirable</li></ul><p>Working for a multinational company your skills will see you be rewarded with an excellent rate of $34.64p/hr plus allowances.</p><p>Please send your details through to christinaapps@staffaus.com.au or simply press apply today.
