We have a fantastic opportunity for a well organised person to join a well-known boutique freight forwarder based on the Northside. Their operation is in need of a team player to come aboard and co-ordinate their transport movements in Brisbane.
Primarily your duties will involve:
- Liaising with transport companies
- Checking documentation and customs clearances
- Co-ordinating the movements of freight both Air , Sea LCL and FCL
- Conversing with customers
- Updating the computer system with delivery information
To be successful you need to have a background in either freight forwarding with EDI experience or containerised transport. You must be able to pick things up quickly, have a good geographical knowledge of Brisbane and be level headed.
